There are different options to access the email on web hosting account. Webmail is the option provided by most web hosts to Access and Manage Email Accounts in cPanel.

The most popular webmail clients provided are Horde, RoundCube and Squirrel mail.

How to create email accounts in cPanel

To add new email accounts in cPanel, perform the following steps:
1. Login into cPanel.
2. Click on the Email Accounts icon located in the Email Section.

3. On the next page, fill out the form for new e-mail accounts.
4. Enter the email address you want to create. If you are trying to create “[email protected]”, just type in “test”.
5. Enter the password twice for the e-mail account.
Note: E-mail passwords cannot be recovered, only changed. cPanel will let you know if your password is secure. If your choice is not secure enough, I recommend you to use Password Generator.
6. You can set a disk quota for the mail account, or you can remove quotas entirely.
7. When finished, click Create Account.

 Tip: I recommend you to generate the password from password generator. It is the most secure option to generate the password. It generates the random password like do7QSfvc2X3p4  which no one can guess easily.

How to delete email accounts in cPanel

To delete an email accounts in cPanel, perform the following steps:
1. Click the delete link that corresponds to the account to remove,
2. Click Delete.

Changing email account password in cPanel

To change the password of email accounts in cPanel, perform the following steps:
1. Login into cPanel.
2. Click on the Email Accounts icon located in the Mail section.
3. In the box to the right of Change Password, enter your new password.
4. Confirm the new password.

Changing email quota in cPanel

A quota is nothing more than a limit of how much disk space your email can take up. The quota of an email account always shows in megabytes(MB) in cPanel. When the email quota for an account is exceeded you will get an email notification and the sender will get the message that recipient mailbox is full.

To change the email accounts quota, perform the following steps:

1. Login into cPanel.
2. Click on the Email Accounts icon located in the Mail section.
3. Scroll down to the email address for which you need to update the quota resources.
4. Click Change Quota.
5. Either type in the new quota amount or select unlimited option.
6. You can set a disk quota for the mail account, or you can remove quotas entirely.
7. Click Change Quota.
