However, you can choose .net and .org domain extension. There are some exceptions to this rule, though. For example, if your site is going to be like a TV channel, then choosing an extension like YourDomainName.tv may be a better choice for you.

Also, there are country level domains like; .in (India), .co.uk (England), etc. Only choose these types of domain extensions if you’re targeting specific country audience.

Well, no, not exactly. Keywords in your domain name can still be a good thing because they can give your potential viewers an idea of what your site is about.
